Searching the Internet for DVD Movie Reviews
If you are new to movie watching, chances are you already know the basics of what a movie is and how it all works. But, there is more to knowing and understanding the many different types of movies that there are. Some of these other types of movies have been considered and are still considered movies in their own right.
The term “Movie” can mean two different things. An individual movie refers to a movie as it is commonly referred to, while the term “IMDB” refers to an online database that includes movie information. A movie, also known as a short film, short video or low budget movie, is typically a non-performed motion picture, short film or short video. Movie databases sometimes refer to these films as an “imdb,” but it is generally understood that an IMDB is actually referring to an internet database of movies.
To search for and find specific movie information, type in the title, actors and directors along with the year of production or release in the search box on the IMDB website. To filter the results presented to you, click on the “search by genre” search box and choose from a variety of predefined genres. To change the displayed genres, click on the “search by name” search box. Additional options available to you include the title, cast, and rating of the movie file.
One additional feature that may be found in some newer versions of the IMDB is the “trial version.” To search for and view movie information that is available in the trial version of a movie file, type in the title and a few variations of the actor or director in the search box. To narrow your search, click on the “search by date” search box. A date will be provided with the movie information to allow you to narrow down your search according to recent releases. To download a copy of the movie file, simply right click and choose the option to download to the computer.
An additional database for movie information is the “tdb api” database. The “tdb api” is the terminology used by the Universal Studios Character Database (UCCD) – a database of information about the more than three hundred different characters (human characters in the movie industry). For those familiar with UCCD, a brief description of the abbreviations used by IT professionals will suffice. abbreviated utt: uti, to use; id: actor/actress; sibi: character/personality; hrm: home life; mpm: mom/girl friend; spci: science fiction. abbreviated spci: character/personality; spci: person/thing; abbreviation for sci fi: sci fi; spci: space adventure/fantasy. For those unfamiliar with these abbreviations, the list at the end of this article will assist in expanding their knowledge base.

Each database provides search box options for title, actor/actress, director, and more. You may be asked to review film trailers and reviews before deciding which films to add to your watch list.
